Traditional Bottom Paint
Toxic to marine life
  • Contains copper, zinc, and biocides that poison aquatic ecosystems
  • Leaches toxic chemicals into water continuously
  • Harms fish, coral, and bottom-dwelling organisms
  • Being banned in California, Washington, and other states
Environmental damage
  • Accumulates in sediment causing long-term pollution
  • Contaminates marinas and harbors
  • Creates hazardous waste during removal
  • Non-compliant with tightening EPA regulations
Poor performance
  • Ablative paints erode and create drag
  • Reduces fuel efficiency by 20-30%
  • Fades and chalks from UV exposure
  • Peels and chips with low bond strength (200-400 PSI)
Constant maintenance
  • Must be reapplied annually or seasonally
  • Requires expensive haul-outs ($50-150/ft)
  • Days of downtime per application

How the coating goes on

01
Haul out and inspect

The hull comes out of the water and gets measured, photographed and quoted. You see the condition before anything is stripped.

02
Strip and prepare

Old ablative paint is removed and the substrate is prepared for bonding. This is the last time your hull will need it.

03
Thermal application

The polymer is applied hot in a single coat and embeds into the surface at 850+ PSI bond strength. Hours, not days.

04
Splash and forget it

Back in the water the same day, under a five-year warranty. Power washable, even underwater, when you want it bright again.

Questions boat owners ask

Anything not covered here, call 318-HULL-911 and ask.

How long does the coating last?

It is applied once and protects for years, backed by the industry's only no-fine-print 5-year warranty.

How much downtime should I plan for?

Quick application with minimal downtime — hours, not days. No annual haul-outs after that.

Is it safe for marine life?

Zero toxic biocides or heavy metals, and nothing leaches into the water. It is trusted by zoos, aquariums and swimming pools worldwide.

How do I clean it?

Power washable, even underwater. Growth has limited adherence to the bottom, so it comes off easily.

Will it help fuel economy?

The surface is smooth and hydrodynamic. Ablative paints erode and create drag, reducing fuel efficiency by 20-30%.
